Steve Kornell kept his word!
How refreshing! A candidate who keeps his promise. Two years ago, Steve Kornell promised to focus on four priorities. They remain the same today, only now he offers a measurable record of effective service. Steve has kept his word, and more!
Steve’s leadership on the Council led to greater transparency in city government. Now all committee meetings are broadcast, and citizens may address the Council on items before the Council votes on them! When citizens call Councilman Kornell, they know he cares by the way he responds.
With your vote, Steve Kornell will continue to focus on the right priorities for St. Petersburg. He needs your vote again!
Steve's Welcome Message
Kick-Off at Duncan McClellan Glass Studio A Grand Success
Last Saturday night's kick-off event at the Duncan McClellan Glass Studio exceeded all our expectations. I am deeply indebted to the many people who helped make it possible and to the many supporters who attended. I am especially grateful to U. S. Congresswoman Kathy Castor for heading up the tremendous host committee, which included the Honorable Kevin Beckner, Rick Boylan and Steven Brandt, Deveron Gibbons, Ian Gomez, Nadine Smith and Andrea Hildebran, Linda Lucas, Scott Wagman and Beth Houghton, Bob Devin Jones and James Howell, Duncan McClellan, Craig and Jan Sher, Robert Valenti, and Marielle Westerman.
See Representative Kathy Castor's introduction here. My remarks are posted in two parts. Part one is here. Part two is here.

His city council decisions are not based on favoritism or outside sources, but with the welfare of the community in mind. Our city needs a council that makes common sense decisions.
